SUMMARY:hardware.london inaugural meetup @ dogs grandad brewery
DESCRIPTION:“hardware is hard\, but not when you team up with great engineers”\n– someone who came along to the first hardware.london meetup \nJoin embedism and friends for the inaugural hardware.london meetup hosted by Dogs Grandad Brewery. \nLondon is well served by full-stack\, digital product\, Web3\, industrial design and other software/design-focused meetups but we are missing a hardware based meetup. Let’s solve this by getting together\, discussing issues\, hiring needs\, project requirements\, and manufacturers\, and sharing knowledge! \nGET YOUR FREE TICKET HERE\nWe are delighted to be joined by crowdfunding expert\, Rob Hallifax\, who has six successful campaigns under his belt and has recently launched Roast My Kickstarter. If you want some (constructive) live roasting of your crowdfunding project then please let us know! \nOur sponsor is the incredible Anglia\, who have been indispensable as a reliable\, personable\, and local component supplier for small and big customers alike. At embedism we have found them a valuable partner across countless projects. We will be joined by Anglia at the meetup so be sure to have a chat to them about any component or sourcing needs you have. \nOf course the embedism team will be in attendance to offer advice regarding your product development\, we can’t wait to hear what you’re working on! \nThe format for this first event is going to be fairly relaxed with a couple of talks but mostly networking and free-form conversation. Hardware and beer are a winning combination but there will be soft drinks available too. \nSome of this meetup will follow the Chatham House Rule and you may be required to complete an NDA when you attend. This will mean we can discuss projects\, difficulties\, and solutions freely. \n
